1 Response to Unmet rehabilitation needs after hospitalization for traumatic brain injury

  1. I’m a mother to a 9 year old TBI survivor, almost 4 years out. Not only is my husband and I a teacher, but we live in rural Wyoming, where services are limited. I have spoke at Denver Children’s Hospital Rehab Professional Development on the concern of lacking additional support after being discharge. It is one of my passion and goals to help build and connect families with more support whether its a service, financial, educationally or emotionally. There’s an epidemic with lack of understanding to those kids that are TBI survivors and facing an invisible disability. I’d love to connect with the TBI community and create more awareness to families. I’m very new to wordpress blog and am in the process of creating my page (ibelieveincolteramotherstbiblog), but also have had a FB page as well (I Believe in Colter). Feel free to contact me.
